Recycling Waste

For waste to be recycled into resources, it must be crushed to a certain size and then sorted into its component materials according to the recycling purpose.
A wide variety of waste crushers are available depending on the type of waste to be processed. These include a shear-type crusher, which uses the torque of its rotary teeth, and an impact crusher, which uses the impact from a hammer that is rotating at high speed. Effective processing can be achieved by selecting not only the appropriate crusher, but also the optimal blade shape and processing power.
Waste can also be used effectively as materials for the manufacture of recycled products with a high resource value by extracting the required materials from waste containing a mixture of many materials.
The materials are extracted by selecting them using an appropriate detection method according to the material to be collected. The detection devices that can be used include near-infrared sensors, color sensors equipped with a CCD camera, electromagnetic sensors, and X-ray sensors.
