Improving Maneuverability

These technologies help our customers enjoy a care-free ride regardless of the conditions.

Traction Control Technology

KHI has diligently developed this technology in the course of its racing activities. The system analyzes data received from sensors mounted on the motorcycle several hundred times a second to predict how it may behave next and then adjusts the engine output accordingly. This is designed to maintain an optimal tire grip and transfer the engine torque to the road as much as possible for quick acceleration.
Traction control technology suppresses undesirable motorcycle behavior and helps riders enjoy a relaxing ride on their sports motorcycle.

Frame Technology

It is also important to improve the specifications of the frame to provide riders with enhanced comfort and security.
Take a large motorcycle with a wide engine, for example. A typical twin-tube frame, which cradles the engine on either side, would make the motorcycle even wider, making it difficult to downsize.
To overcome this issue, KHI developed its proprietary Monocoque Frame, which has the engine situated underneath it. This design facilitates the use of a narrower chassis, the positioning of heavier components such as the fuel tank and battery closer to the center of the chassis, and the realization of a frame that is lighter but more rigid.
