The chassis engineers then try to overcome any problems that the proposed style presents in terms of factors such as the bike's aerodynamic performance and the rider's comfort. Since the bike has to meet the production requirements without any compromises in terms of the proposed style, creating an aerodynamic design is one of the most important aspects of motorcycle development.
KHI has diligently developed computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis technologies in the course of designing products such as aircraft and rolling stocks. Utilizing these technologies together with our in-house wind tunnel facilities, KHI engineers design chassis for a variety of motorcycles to meet our aerodynamic performance targets.
