Waste Heat Recovery and Cooling Equipment for Styrene Monomer Plant (SM Plant)
The reaction cell of a styrene monomer plant mainly consists of a dehydrogenation reactor and a waste heat recovery heat exchanger called the WHE (Waste Heat Exchangers). The WHE is a generic term used to refer to multiple heat exchangers , but especially the EB-Steam Superheater in the utmost upstream requires know-how in designing and manufacturing. Therefore, a limited number of manufacturers worldwide have a track record in this field.
