Began work on Hele-shaw type radial piston pumps at the marine machinery works (now Kobe Works), formerly Kawasaki Dockyard


1924

Completed electro-hydraulic steering gears


1936

Started producing and selling screw pumps


1950

Began producing and selling gear pumps for spinning and metering


1962

Began producing and selling bent-axis type axial piston pumps/motors


1968

Established and relocated Nishi-Kobe Works, started the Hydraulic Machinery Division

Developed swash-plate type axial piston pumps/motors


1976

Produced and sold high-pressure screw pumps (B4 type)


1987

Renamed the division as the Precision Machinery Division


1993

Established the Kawasaki Precision Machinery (UK) Ltd. and commenced production of Staffa Motors in UK

Established the Precision Machinery Division in Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. as a sales base in US

Distributorship agreement of cartridge valves with Sun Hydraulics Corporation in US


1994

Certified by DNV (DET NORSKE VERITAS) to conform to the Quality System Standard ISO 9001


1996

Awarded for excellence in consistent TPM commitment


1997

Sales license agreement about multi-stroke motor with the Poclain Hydraulics s.a. in France


1998

Obtained certification from DNV (DET NORSKE VERITAS) to conform to the Environmental Management System Standard ISO 14001

Awarded for specializing in distinguished TPM achievement


2002

Established Kawasaki Precision Machinery Ltd. separating from Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd.

Started business tie-up with Kayaba Industries, Ltd.


2005

Established Kawasaki Precision Machinery (Suzhou) Ltd.


2007

Built Core Parts Shop in main plant


2008

Built Machinery Shop No.4 in main plant

Built Machinery Shop No.2 in KPM (Suzhou)


2009

Started using 500KW photovoltaic power generation system in main plant
