Kawasaki to Exhibit Full-Scale Mock-Up of Robotic Multi-legged Vehicle “CORLEO” at gamescom 2026, One of the World’s Largest Gaming Events, in Germany — Debut in Europe of a Vehicle Crystalizing Robotics and Motorcycle Technologies —

Tokyo, August 19, 2026 — Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. announced that it will exhibit a full-scale mock-up of “CORLEO,” a Robotic Multi-legged Vehicle (RMV), at gamescom 2026, one of the world’s largest gaming events, to be held in Cologne, Germany, from August 26 to 30, 2026.

Kawasaki will exhibit at Hall 10 Stand D010, where visitors will be able to sit astride the full-scale mock-up of CORLEO and experience its scale firsthand. Through this exhibition, Kawasaki aims to raise global awareness of CORLEO while exploring new possibilities for collaboration with the gaming and esports industries.

CORLEO is an off-road personal mobility vehicle that Kawasaki unveiled at the Japan World Expo 2025 (Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai). It combines the off-road performance made possible by four-legged robotics with the maneuverability and stability Kawasaki has cultivated through its motorcycle technologies. The vehicle features intuitive operation through rider weight shifts, much like horseback riding.

Kawasaki established the SAFE ADVENTURE Business Development Team, a project reporting directly to the president, and launched development toward commercialization in December 2025. The company is advancing development with the goal of adopting CORLEO as an on-site mobility vehicle at Expo 2030 Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, while working toward commercialization in 2035.

Kawasaki is also working to build a riding simulator that will serve as a development platform for CORLEO. The simulator is targeted for completion in 2027, and Kawasaki plans to deploy it in the gaming and esports industries.
