Tokyo, October 14, 2010 — Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. announced today that it will launch the Ninja 400R ABS and the ER-4n ABS in Japan on November 15. Both models are 400-cc sportbikes fitted with an antilock braking system (ABS).
The Ninja 400R, an all-round sport motorcycle fitted with a full fairing, and the ER-4n, a stylish naked sport motorcycle, have gained high marks on the Japanese market since they were launched this August. Both models feature a parallel twin-cylinder, DOHC, four-valve 399-cm3 engine that delivers powerful performance at low- and mid-range rpm, as well as a highly rigid diamond-shaped steel frame chassis for outstanding riding performance. They also boast superior environmental performance that complies with the Japanese emissions standards that went into effect in 2007.
The Ninja 400R ABS and the ER-4n ABS are ABS-equipped versions of Kawasaki’s genuine sportbikes, the Ninja 400R and the ER-4n.
