The Kawasaki Board of Directors also decided today that Toshikazu Hayashi, President of Kawasaki Plant Systems, Ltd., Makoto Sonoda, President of Kawasaki Precision Machinery Ltd., and Managing Executive Officer Shigeru Murayama will be nominated as Directors at the Kawasaki Shareholders’ Meeting in late June 2010. Subject to approval at that meeting, Murayama will then be appointed Senior Vice President. Also in late June, Motoyama will resign as Director to become an Advisor.
