The Kawasaki Board of Directors also decided today that effective in late June 2009, president Tadaharu Ohashi will become chairman and Satoshi Hasegawa will become new president. And managing executive officers Yuichi Asano, Nobumitsu Kambayashi, Kyohei Matsuoka and Hiroshi Takata will be nominated as Directors at the Kawasaki Shareholders’ Meeting in late June 2009. Subject to approval at the meeting, they will then be appointed Senior Vice Presidents. The Company will also name Tatsuyoshi Ohgushi and Michio Oka as Corporate Auditors at the meeting, since current auditors Akira Tanoue and Hiroshi Kawamoto are resigning.
