Tokyo, February 29, 2008 — Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. announced today that it will release the D-Tracker X in Japan on April 5. The D-Tracker X is a lightweight city sportbike boasting superior environmental and on-road performance. The D-Tracker employs the same basic components as the KLX250, including a 249 cc liquid-cooled, four-stroke, single-cylinder DOHC four-valve engine and a highly rigid perimeter frame. Equipped with 17-inch wheels and street tires in the front and rear, the D-Tracker is specially designed for superb handling which has made it a popular model on the Japanese market. The D-Tracker X incorporates all the cutting-edge environmental performance and enhanced on-road capabilities of the D-Tracker wrapped in a stylish new package.
