Soccer Club Receives Donation of Dream-Plus Relaxation Capsule

Nov. 08, 2007

Tokyo, November 8, 2007 – Kawasaki Plant Systems, Ltd. today announced that it has donated the latest model of its Dream-Plus hyperbaric capsule to J. League Division 1 soccer club Vissel Kobe. The product was developed by its subsidiary, Kawasaki Engineering Co., Ltd.

The Kawasaki Heavy Industries Group has been supporting the club by sponsoring its uniforms and through other activities. The capsule donation was made to encourage the players to further advance in the league as they head into the final stage of the season.

Dream-Plus is an auto-controlled, hyperbaric chamber equipped with a system to equalize ear pressure. Users lie inside for 40-50 minutes, breathing filtrated clean air with an atmospheric pressure of 1.3 (equivalent to that experienced in 3 m deep water). This enables more efficient oxygen intake, which relaxes and refreshes the body. The capsule will be installed in a clubhouse at Ibuki No Mori Football Ground, where the club members regularly practice.
