New CSR Manager Named

Tokyo, September 28, 2006 — Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. announced today that one of its executive officers will be appointed to a new position. Shigeru Hamada, currently Senior Manager, Osaka Office, Corporate Development Division, will become Senior Manager, CSR Department, on October 1, 2006.
