145,000 m3 LNG Carrier Energy Advance Delivered

Tokyo, March 31, 2005 – Kawasaki Shipbuilding Corporation today announced that it delivered yesterday an LNG carrier to Tokyo LNG Tanker Co., Ltd. The latest carrier, the Energy Advance, is the fourth 145,000 m3 LNG carrier developed by Kawasaki Shipbuilding that achieves a large cargo capacity while maintaining conventional hull size, thus allowing the carrier to enter the world's primary LNG terminal ports. The ship boasts state-of-the-art facilities, with four Moss spherical tanks that hold a total of 145,410 m3 of LNG and highly efficient thermal insulation using Kawasaki's panel system. |
