STX-15F
Kawasaki’s highest performance four-stroke personal watercraft, the low-noise, low-emissions 2004 Jet Ski® STX-15F, made its debut recently.
The new three-passenger flagship model of the STX series was designed based on the four-stroke Jet Ski STX-12F that went on the market in March 2003, with increased engine displacement and greatly enhanced power output. Even with such high-performance attributes, the STX-15F’s low-emissions feature meets the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's standards and even stricter California Air Resources Board standards for 2008.
Its 1,498cc, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, in-line four-cylinder engine provides high torque and power output even at low- and mid- rpm range, realizing rapid acceleration over the entire rpm range. Combining the remarkable engine performance and the compact, lightweight hull of the championship-winning* Jet Ski 1200STX-R, the STX-15F offers excellent acceleration and outstanding handling.
*The Jet Ski 1200STX-R carried the Kawasaki team to the International Jet Sports Boating Association 2003 series championship title in the Pro Runabout 1200 Superstock class.
