About the Movie
Kojiro Matsukata, the Company’s first president, inherited the aspirations of founder Shozo Kawasaki, whose words, “Contributing to the nation—to society—through expertise,” have become part of Kawasaki’s enduring DNA. In response to evolving social challenges, Matsukata laid the foundations for businesses that continue to this day, expanding from shipbuilding into rolling stock and aircraft. The red line running through the movie symbolizes this spirit, passed down through generations. The movie also depicts the Company’s efforts to address labor shortages in nursing care, welfare, and industry through robots powered by physical AI.
