Kawasaki selected for Dow Jones Best-in-Class World Index for the second consecutive year

Kawasaki has been selected for the second consecutive year as a component of the DJ BIC World of the Dow Jones Best-in-Class Indices (DJ BIC)*¹, which is one of the leading indices of ESG (environmental, social, and governance) investment. In addition, Kawasaki has been included for the 13th consecutive year in the DJ BIC Asia Pacific.

Jointly compiled by S&P Dow Jones Indices and Robeco SAM, DJ BIC is a leading ESG index that selects leading sustainability-driven companies in terms of governance and economic, environmental, and social criteria and serves as one of the most important benchmarks to measure corporate sustainability performance for investors who take the ESG initiatives of each company into consideration. The top 10% of the major global companies evaluated around the world are to be selected for the DJ BIC World every year. In 2025, 317 companies, including 35 Japanese ones, have been selected among approximately 2,500 firms.

This evaluation result recognizes our Group’s sustainability initiatives and information disclosure. As a global entity, Kawasaki will keep committing to the fulfillment of its sustainability, with a view towards realizing the Group Mission, “Kawasaki, working as one for the good of the planet.”
