Kawasaki Launches High-Speed Palletizing Robot “CP110L”
Feb. 16, 2026

Tokyo, February 16, 2026 — Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. announced today the launch of the high-speed palletizing robot “CP110L”, which has a maximum payload capacity of 110kg.
The CP110L achieves industry-leading handling capacity as a palletizing*1 robot while maintaining a compact robot body size. This enables installation at sites where robot implementation has been difficult due to installation space constraints such as ceiling height, despite demand for palletizing automation. Additionally, by adopting a hollow wrist structure—the first in the 110kg payload class of palletizing robots—the robot enables more versatile applications.
With the addition of CP110L to the CP series[UC1.1] palletizing robot product lineup, Kawasaki can now cover a broader payload capacity range from 110kg to 700kg compared to the previous lineup*2, enabling broader support for palletizing automation needs in logistics processes.
<Main Features of “CP110L”>
1) First Hollow Wrist Structure in the 110kg Payload Class of Palletizing Robots
| By adopting a hollow structure in the wrist, cables to the hand can be routed through the hollow interior, contributing to shorter wiring and installation times during installation and maintenance. Additionally, since cables previously arranged around the wrist now pass through the wrist interior, the overall interference area of the wrist is reduced. |
2) Industry-Leading Compact Design
| Achieves the smallest required ceiling height (maximum reach point) of 2,242mm and the smallest revolute axis interference radius (453mm) in the 110kg payload class of palletizing robots. |
3)Industry-Leading Handling Capacity, Range of Motion, and Maximum Reach
| ・ | Through faster transfer speeds, achieves transfer of 2,200 cases per hour (when transferring 60kg including hand weight) (for reciprocal motion pattern: rise 400mm, horizontal 2,000mm, descent 400mm). |
| ・ | Features extensive range of motion (maximum vertical motion 2,433mm, maximum reach 2,505mm), flexibly adapting to various site layouts and transfer operations, supporting higher stacking and larger pallet sizes. |
4) Standard-Equipped Power Regeneration Function
| Contributes to energy savings and CO₂ emission reductions by reducing energy loss through reusing regenerative energy generated during robot operation as electrical power. Particularly effective in palletizing, which involves frequent high-speed operations and reversing motions. |
