Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. began operations on October 1 of its newly established local subsidiary “PT Kawasaki Precision Machinery Indonesia” (KPM Indonesia), which conducts sales of hydraulic products in Indonesia.
KPM Indonesia was established as a local sales company with inventory functions in Indonesia, where demand for hydraulic equipment, particularly for construction machinery, is increasing due to rapid economic development. Kawasaki will continue to respond flexibly to market changes and diverse customer needs through the sale of hydraulic products.
On November 11, an opening ceremony was held locally to commemorate the start of operations, attended by representatives from the Embassy of Japan in Indonesia, business partners, and local stakeholders who supported the establishment of the company. The ceremony was conducted in a format incorporating Indonesian traditional culture (Tumpeng Cutting), celebrating the company’s new beginning with a spirit of valuing connections with the local community.
Moving forward, Kawasaki will continue to strengthen its sales structure for hydraulic products in Indonesia to improve customer satisfaction and enhance brand strength in the Southeast Asian market.
