Tokyo, December 12, 2024 — Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. announced today that it commences sales of "neoROSET," an industrial robot programming support software that enables simple examination of robot system construction, on Thursday, December 12, 2024. Sales will subsequently be launched in overseas markets. This software optimizes business processes, reduces work hours, and improves quality across all phases of our customers' industrial robot implementation — from the design and examination of production facilities and production lines to post-implementation operation and maintenance.

The main features of this software are as follows:

Key Features

1)Intuitive Operation

・    A simple user interface enabling visual creation of robot programs
(Significantly improved operability compared to "K-ROSET," our existing offline programming tool for robots)

2)Practical Functions

・    Standard support for CAD file import
・    Simple creation of layouts for robots and peripheral equipment
・    Easy teaching and robot program creation using 3D data
・    High-precision simulation equivalent to actual machines using virtual controller¹ and virtual teaching pendant²
・    Specialized functions tailored to applications, enabling reduced system startup time through digital twin construction of actual sites
・    Simple output of simulation results as video files and 3D PDF
・    Newly compatible with wafer transfer robots in addition to handling, painting/sealing, arc welding, and spot welding applications
