The booth’s theme is "Tradition and Innovation,” where visitors can experience the “tradition” stemming from 70 years of producing motorcycles (Kawasaki will celebrate our 70th anniversary this year) and the “innovation” we have toward achieving carbon neutrality embodied by our new models, and also our slogan: “Let the Good Times Roll (Working for the happiness and joy of all those whose lives Kawasaki touches)”.
Five World Premiere Models
■ MEGURO S1
Since 1924, the MEGURO brand has been an icon for riders in Japan, well-known for its large-displacement engines, high performance, and high quality. The new MEGURO S1 is a sport model with a 250cc single-cylinder engine inheriting the MEGURO brand’s 100 years of tradition and reliability. It is the true successor to the 1964 Kawasaki 250 MEGURO SG and also becomes the latest in the continued line of MEGURO singles that began before WWII. The craftsmanship that went into the air-cooled engine, carefully finished black and chrome fuel tank, spoked wheels, and seat result in the iconic MEGURO style that is the pride of Kawasaki.

■ W230
This retro sport model inherits the DNA of Kawasaki’s W series. It features an air-cooled 4-stroke SOHC single-cylinder engine with a distinct character mounted in an orthodox steel double-cradle frame. The single round headlight, teardrop fuel tank, dual gauges, spoked wheels and steel fenders come together to form the classic, universal styling that identify Kawasaki motorcycles. Carrying on the spirit of the W brand that began with the 650-W1 in 1966, the W230’s low seat height and light, responsive chassis make it a model that anyone can enjoy owning and riding.

■ KLX230
The KLX230 is a dual-purpose motorcycle designed to accommodate a wide range of riders. An optimized rear subframe allows a comfortable reach to the ground for the rider’s feet, with longer wheel travel and thicker seat cushioning for increased off-road performance and ride comfort. In addition, a compact headlight and looks inspired by KX series motocross race machines give the bike a sporty appearance. In addition, the KLX230 features an ABS on/off switch to allow the rider to choose the right setup for off-road conditions, and now offers smartphone connectivity for a new kind of fun riding experience. The new KLX230 will be released in various countries in 2024.

■ Ninja ZX-10R 40th Anniversary Edition, Ninja ZX-4RR 40th Anniversary Edition
To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Ninja series, the Ninja ZX-10R and Ninja ZX-4RR will feature color and graphics inspired by the iconic ZXR series of the 1980s and 1990s. The ZXR livery’s white, blue and green paint scheme is faithfully reproduced, while graphics that include the prominent “Kawasaki” logo on the fairings have been optimized to fit the Ninja ZX-10R and Ninja ZX-4RR’s shape. On top of the fuel tank is a 40th anniversary emblem, designed in a style similar to a championship sticker and reminiscent of the 1980s racing scene. The frame and swingarm are painted silver, as was popular at the time, and the wheels are Lime Green just like the original ZXR series’ wheels. While these two are Kawasaki’s latest supersport models, they also represent the Kawasaki racing sprit that has been a constant since the first Ninja was introduced. The Ninja ZX-10R 40th Anniversary Edition and Ninja ZX-4RR 40th Anniversary Edition will be released in Japan in the near future.
