Kawasaki Green Product Promotion Activity
In order to realize the Group mission, Kawasaki is accelerating efforts toward boosting the environmental performance of its products while reducing the environmental load of production processes. Products that meet Kawasaki's proprietary, self-imposed criteria are registered as Kawasaki Green Products or Kawasaki Super Green Products and labeled as ISO 14021-compliant. Kawasaki then announces newly registered, compliant products to the public. These initiatives were initiated in 2014, and as of 2017 a total of 41 products have been registered .

Kawasaki Group Environmental Management Measures
In the field of environmental management, the Group established its First Environment Management Activities Plan in 1994, followed by its Environmental Charter in 1999, which defines the basic philosophy and conductguidelines. Subsequently, the Group published its Environmental Report, which was the first such report in the heavy manufacturing industry. In more specific terms, Kawasaki is pursuing CO2 reduction, continuation of zero-emission operations, promotion of the three Rs (reduce, reuse, recycle), reduction of chemical substances, environmental preservation, promotion of Kawasaki Green Products and other such activities based on the Environment Management Activities Plan established in order to realize the Group's long-term Environmental Vision .
