Kawasaki to Donate to Flood Relief Efforts in Thailand

Tokyo, October 28, 2011 - Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. announced today that it will donate an equivalent of 30 million yen to relief and recovery efforts for the people and communities affected by the recent flood in Thailand. The donation will include relief money as well as Kawasaki MULE utility vehicles. The details such as timing and method of donation are now under consideration.

Furthermore, Kawasaki Motors Enterprise (Thailand) Co., Ltd., the local manufacturing and marketing base for Kawasaki motorcycles, is planning to offer free repairs for motorcycles and discounts for replacement parts in the flooded areas.

Kawasaki wishes to express its deepest condolences to all those affected by the flood and hopes for the earliest possible recovery of the affected communities in the region.
