What is the functionality of SOPass that you find indispensable for your business, and why?
SOPass keeps our on land support team up-to-date with SUISO Frontier’s status with her current location and vessel speed.
There are other vessel tracking applications that use AIS data but they do not allow vessel location tracking once the vessel travels a distance from shore. SOPass is essential for us as SUISO Frontier sails internationally.
We find SOPass’s Voyage Track function very useful too. It allows us to quickly draw voyage tracks, which helps us understand the courses of the vessel when conducting verification tests.
What is your overall impression on SOPass? Is SOPass easy to use?
SOPass UI (user interface) is easy to use, and we got used to using SOPass very quickly.
Our team members are enjoying using SOPass right after a short and simple training session.
What part of your work has become easier with SOPass?
Is your workload reduced?
SOPass collects voyage data every 30 minutes, and with its Reporting function, we can extract the data via internet any time.
This has freed us from physically visiting sites to retrieve loading/ unloading data recorded onboard. We can now conduct situation analysis remotely, as quickly as a blink of an eye!
How would you describe our customer service, before and after implementing SOPass?
We have rarely had to contact the SOPass team because its UI is quite easy to use, but when we do, they are always responsive and complacent, and make sure to solve whatever issues we face.
