OH-1 Light Observation Helicopter

The OH-1 was developed for the Ministry of Defense in 1992 as the first helicopter manufactured completely in Japan. A prototype made its successful first flight in 1996.
The OH-1 is a tandem two-seater observation helicopter with an excellent flying response and is equipped with a high-security tail rotor and an automatic pilot system with flight holding function. One of its new technologies is a multidisplay system in the cockpit.
