High Speed Technologies for Hydraulic Motors

Driving forces for traveling or rotation of construction machines are generated by hydraulic motors.
In particular, in HST (hydraulic static transmission)* driving systems of industrial vehicles, such as wheel loaders, higher rotation speed and torque are required.
Therefore, we selected materials with high heat and pressure resistance for parts used in hydraulic motors, and applied a special heat treatment to their surfaces.
In addition, we optimized the motor by reviewing the entire motor including fine details about the shapes of the piston and cylinder block, utilizing advanced measurement and analysis technologies.
As a result, we have succeeded in developing a hydraulic motor that is 1.6 times faster and has twice the power density of previous products.
