Ensuring Durability

Hydraulic systems are commonly used in fields in which large forces are required, such as general industrial machinery or construction machinery such as excavators.
Among hydraulic systems, hydraulic pumps play the important role of sending high-pressure hydraulic fluid to each part, analogous to the human heart.
It is necessary to increase the pressure and speed of hydraulic pumps for performance enhancement and size reduction of the pumps. However, to accomplish these, there are technical issues that need to be solved, including seizure or abnormal wear occurring to parts where components rub against each other and fatigue fracture occurring to parts where high stress is applied.
To solve these issues, we obtain surface pressures and stresses at various locations using numerical analysis technologies such as the finite element method (FEM), so that we can select suitable materials and surface treatment methods or change component shapes.
