Newly Developed 4-Stroke Motocrosser KX250F Launched

Kawasaki will shortly release the KX250F, a newly developed 4-stroke motorcycle for motocross.

The KX250F is the foremost jointly developed product from Kawasaki and Suzuki Motor Corporation since the announcement of their business alliance in August 2001.

The KX250F boasts Kawasaki’s first 4-stroke engine developed especially for motocross (liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, 249 cm3). By using an array of lightweight materials and semi-dry sump lubrication, Kawasaki has succeeded in creating a lighter and smaller engine without compromising power and performance. The newly designed KX250F features the latest Uni-Trak rear suspension system with enhanced linkage structure allowing for superior road-hugging ability and a completely redesigned rigid perimeter frame to encase the new 4-stroke engine. Both the engine and body are new designs based on technology accrued from Kawasaki’s many years of race experience.

Through the development of these features Kawasaki has succeeded in creating a motorcycle possessing a superior level of motocross racing competitiveness backed up by ultra durability and optimum handling.
