Tokyo, January 30, 2006 – Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. will be exhibiting its snowplows with subsidiary Nichijo Manufacturing Co., Ltd. at the Josetsu Kikai Tenjikai (Snow Removal Equipment Trade Show) on February 2 and 3 in Joetsu, Niigata Prefecture, northern Japan.

One of the four featured models is the 50ZV rotary snow dozer, equipped with new NRT3 rotary snow-removal equipment. The dozer's engine meets the stringent emissions standards for construction machinery set by Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. It also satisfies the ministry's noise standards. (exhibitor: Kawasaki)

The KBR102 is the world's only 6WD, compact rotary snowplow, developed for narrow roads and sidewalks. In five minutes, the operator can switch from a rotary snow remover to a snow blade. With the snow blade and 6WD power, high-speed snow removal is guaranteed. A mowing attachment allows the plow to be used all year round. (exhibitor: Nichijo)

The MV81 is a 1,500 mm wide, antifreezing-agent spreader for sidewalks and narrow roads. A wide range of attachments are available, including a rotary snow remover, antifreeze spreader, snowplow, mowing, water sprinkler and cleaner. (exhibitor: Nichijo)

The FST500, designed for low-cost installation and operation, is an effective stationary antifreeze spreader that optimizes the timing and quantity as it dispenses. It sprinkles antifreeze in a radial motion through disc nozzles installed on the road surface, and allows easy changing of the coverage area. (exhibitor: Nichijo)
