• Cryogenic Tanks EPC Contract for JKC in Australia
• Demobilization of Personnel from site by Laing O'Rouke

Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. ("KHI") rejects the claim from Laing O'Rourke ("LOR") that it has not been paid for its work. KHI considers that LOR has been paid all amounts due to it under the contract.

LOR, the consortium partner of KHI on the Tank Project, initiated demobilisation of personnel from the construction site on Wednesday March 15, 2017.

KHI has made significant efforts to resolve the matter, including meeting with LOR many times to discuss the issues in dispute, but was unable to reach a resolution to the satisfaction of both parties. KHI is considering taking necessary steps, including legal action, in response to LOR’s actions.

KHI will continue to work toward the completion of the Tank Project, in accordance with the contract with client, JKC.
